OFFICE MANAGER WANTED FOR GROWING BUSINESSES

Owner of two growing businesses in Cleveland Heights is seeking an office manager to help us grow. Part-time, hourly position to start, 20 hours per week. Transition to full time hopefully later this year, depending on company growth. Salary will be based on experience.

We currently have one employee and eight independent contractors. We are growing those numbers, along with growing our client roster.

You will be part of a close-knit, friendly team in a low-stress work environment. We encourage open communication, and practice ethics and honesty. Every team member is an important contributor to the organization. Your ideas and creativity are welcome.

Your role will include client contracts, client invoicing/accounts receivable, client correspondence, managing client database, bookkeeping, contractor contracts, scheduling contractors, reviewing contractor invoices, payroll, marketing, newsletters, social media, website updates, organizing, research, phone calls, printing, filing, office errands and various other office management duties.

Applicants should have good writing and speaking skills, be able to work independently (after training) but also be humble enough to take direction. Must be thorough, organized, patient, and flexible. Also must be proficient in Word, Excel and Google Docs. Knowledge of IT and updating websites helpful. Previous office management experience preferred. Must be fluent in English, and a U.S. resident or citizen.

We are currently a home-based business, planning to grow to new office space sometime this year. Cats live in the home, so if you’re allergic this wouldn’t be a good fit for you right now.

Cognition and Memory

All of our programs are adaptable for seniors with early-stage memory loss and for individuals with mild cognitive disabilities. For seniors with later stages of memory loss, and individuals with more severe cognitive disabilities, we have found the following list of programs to be the most helpful and beneficial. All of these programs use present-moment awareness that can also gently stimulate long-term memory recall when possible.
