Many thanks to the Orange Senior Center for inviting us to participate in their annual Health and Wellness Fair. Over 100 senior adults attended the fair and took advantage of the free flu shots and bone density testing. We appreciate being given the opportunity to share information about our classes and activities with the seniors.
Thanks to the folks at The Waterford assisted living residence for having us come out to do a cookbook project with their residents. The residents brought their favorite recipes, and we held a discussion group and talked about the memories and traditions that make their recipes so special to them. It was such a cool afternoon of sharing life stories, and the residents are very excited to see the finished book!
Many thanks to the National Association of Retired Federal Employees south chapter for inviting us to speak at their monthly meeting yesterday. We went over my new guidebook “Writing Your Personal Legacy – Guidelines and Tips For Recording Your Life Story”. The response was very positive and heartwarming!
We are very grateful to Rachel Kabb-Effron and the Kabb Law Firm for inviting us to participate in their “Caregiver Appreciation Night”. Caring for an aging relative can be very stressful and overwhelming at times. Rachel provided a free evening of relaxation and yummy food for her caregiver clients, in recognition of the important work they are doing for their families. The Loving Hands Group was very honored to help out, with massage, Reiki treatments, and yoga classes.
Thanks to the Association of Specialists in Aging for asking us to talk about our company at their monthly membership meeting. The members were very enthusiastic about the services we offer, and the feedback was genuinely heartwarming!
