What a treat to be invited to play and sing at a clients’ 85th birthday party! I sang some of the birthday boy’s favorites, including Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye and The Supremes. What an honor it was to share in his special day!

It was a day of relaxation and education today at The Homewood Residence. We gave sample massage treatments to the residents and also educated them about he benefits of massage. Guests from the Board of Developmental Disabilities joined us, for a morning of health and learning.

 We had a wonderful, interactive music activity at the Warrensville Community Apartments today. We sang songs that purposely invoked an opinion, emotion or memory; and after each song the group shared what it brought up for them. We learned a lot about each other, and realized how much we have in common!

We had lots of fun at the Grande Pointe Healthcare Community today. Lots of folks turned out for our sing along, with music from the 40’s through the 60’s. Lots of toe-tapping and clapping! The hands-down favorite was “My Girl” by The Temptations.
