The senior residents at the Warrensville Community Apartments learned tips for healthy cooking – recommended food servings and portions, as well as healthy snack suggestions. They learned how to cook in small portions, and how to use one ingredient several ways. We served healthy snacks as a great way to start the new year!
The folks at the Board of Developmental Disabilities learned about different holidays around the world, including Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Diwali, Las Posadas, and Boxing Day. They learned about the songs, foods and customs of each holiday. We also sang traditional holiday songs and played games. Lots of fun!
