The residents at The Jennings Center for Older Adults learned how the practice of Gratitude Journaling helps provide a happy, optimistic outlook on life. They decided that next week they are going to go out and buy journal books and decorate them!
It was a relaxing day at the Cleveland Heights Senior Center today! We discussed ways to reduce stress, and we practiced a couple of different types of meditation. Then we did a gentle Yoga Stretching class and learned how yoga helps to balance or bodies, minds and spirits. What a great way to spend a rainy Fall day!
