We had a lively discussion group today at The Jennings Center for Older Adults. I sang songs for that purposely evoked an opinion, memory or feeling, and the group talked about what it brought up for them. It gave them a trip down memory lane, as well as a way to get to know each other better.

 The residents at the Jennings Center for Older Adults enjoyed their yoga class today. We did stretching, strengthening and range of motion yoga poses. They learned that anyone can do yoga, because yoga is easily adapted to any condition.

  We had a great crowd for our sing along at The LifeCare Center of Westlake today! The residents had fun singing, clapping, and playing hand percussion. We did fun songs form the 50s-70s.

 Lots of smiles at The Rose-Mary Center today when FayFay the therapy dog came to visit. The group home residents got to pet FayFay and give her doggy treats. We’re not sure who had a better time – the residents or FayFay! 🙂

  The residents at the McGregor Home learned about the ways that they can reduce and even eliminate the stresses that senior adults face in their lives. They appreciated learning that there are very simple, accessible tools they can use to remain peaceful and optimistic.
