Thanks so much to MWBN for inviting us to speak at their monthly meeting.Our topic was “Empowerment Through Balanced Energy”.We discussed how personal and professional clarity,strength,and optimism can be achieved through meditation,positive thinking,gratitude journaling,yoga,Reiki,medical intuition, and dream interpretation. When we achieve a healthy balance of body, mind, and spirit our capabilities are limitless!
6/18/2011 – The Cleveland Heights Senior Center
The seniors at the Cleveland Heights Senior Center are so excited to finally be writing their memoirs that they asked the Center management to extend the class another four weeks! This way they will all have a finished memoir by the end of class. Many thanks to the Center for asking us to teach, and allowing us to help the seniors accomplish their dream of writing.
6/10/2011 – The Lake Health Center for Geriatric Psychiatry
We are grateful to the Lake Health Center for Geriatric Psychiatry for including our services in their patient discharge program. Our classes and activities related to the arts and alternative health care will be very beneficial to seniors struggling with mental illness. Any time we can use our talents and gifts to help others, we have achieved our goal.
5/29/2011 – The National Association of Retired Federal Employees
Many thanks to the National Association of Retired Federal Employees for inviting us to speak at their meeting on Friday. We had a great question and answer session on ways to maintain physical and mental health as we age. They have asked us to host a health expo for them, and provide information and demonstrations on Reiki, Meditation, Yoga, Massage, Tai Chi, and Art Therapy. We’ll let you know when the date is set!

If you’re going to be in the area on May 14, stop by and see us at the Heights Community Congress Multicultural Festival. It’s from 1:00-4:30 pm, at the Lee Road Library in Cleveland Heights.The festival encourages area residents to appreciate diversity through education.There will be activities, craft projects, entertainment, food, items for sale, and door prizes.
