Many thanks to Aetna Medicare for sponsoring our “Architectural History of Cleveland” class at the Huntington Green senior apartments. The residents learned about the important residential and commercial buildings that have shaped Cleveland’s history and skyline. They loved it and said they learned a lot!

2/8/2012 – 2012 “Remodel Ohio” Show
The 2012 “Remodel Ohio” show was a wonderful success! We teamed up with Karlovec and Company contractors to educate a great many seniors and their families on how to modify their homes so that they can remain living safely at home.
10/26/2011 – “Interior Decorating Made Easy” Class
Thanks very much to the Mentor Senior Center for inviting us in to teach “Interior Decorating Made Easy” to their seniors. The two week class helped them learn decorating guidelines and tips, how to use color, low-budget decorating, using what they already have, do-it-yourself projects, organizing and clutter management. The feedback was great and the students are eager to get started on redecorating their homes!
10/13/2011 – “Cookies and Conversation” Meeting
We are grateful to the Shaker Heights Community Life Department for inviting us to speak with their senior adults at their weekly “Cookies and Conversation” meeting. We taught them how to research their family tree, where to find information, and how to organize and present the information. They are very excited about getting started!
