We had a wonderful turnout today at the Homewood Residence for my Architectural History of Cleveland slideshow. The residents came to learn about classical Cleveland architecture and historic architectural milestones that took place in the city of Cleveland. They loved the trip down memory lane!

We had a wonderful turnout today at our car show the Board of Developmental Disabilities. The owners of 6 cars, a motorcycle and an accessible van donated their time to make a wonderful day for the folks there. I am very grateful to everyone who played a part in this!

We had a great discussion group today at the Warrensville Community Apartments. We talked about the potential for stress in interpersonal relationships, and ways that we can reduce that stress. We reviewed ways that we can change our own thinking and behavior, as well as ways that we can communicate our needs to others. Each participant left with a personalized “action plan” for improving a particular personal relationship in their lives.

 The residents at Brookdale, and our guests from the Board of Developmental Disabilities,had a great time today making their own greeting card. Our artist Susan led them through several decorating techniques that they then personalized to come up with their own unique creations.

 Our bi-weekly meditation class continued today at the R.H. Myers Apartments in Beachwood. We practiced Breathing, Gratitude, and Negative Space Meditations; and discussed easy ways to incorporate meditation into your life. It was a dedicated group with lots of questions!
