We had a great discussion group today at Brookdale Rockefeller. We talked about the potential for stress in interpersonal relationships, and ways that we can reduce that stress. We reviewed ways that we can change our own thinking and behavior, as well as ways that we can communicate our needs to others. Each participant left with a personalized “action plan” for improving a particular personal relationship in their lives.
1/5/16 – Healthy Cooking for One or Two
The senior residents at the Warrensville Community Apartments learned tips for healthy cooking – recommended food servings and portions, as well as healthy snack suggestions. They learned how to cook in small portions, and how to use one ingredient several ways. We served healthy snacks as a great way to start the new year!
