Lots of families came out to the Board of Developmental Disabilities Provider Fair today. We joined over 40 vendors who were there to provide helpful information about our services. We made lots of new friends!
10/3/14 – Gentle Yoga
Our yoga class at The Jennings Center for Older Adults learned that yoga does not have to be complicated or scary! It can be modified for anyone. They learned simple but effective yoga poses and stretches to help keep them strong, flexible and stable on their feet.
10/1/14 – Making Lemonade From Lemons
What a treat to be able to give my “Lemonade” presentation two days in a row! The group at The Jennings Center for Older Adults asked some wonderful questions and offered tips of their own for staying optimistic and happy despite the challenges of aging.

Thanks to Grande Pointe Nursing and Rehab for welcoming us into their fun ice cream parlor for our presentation. We talked about ways to make the best out of a tough situation…while eating ice cream and sipping lemonade!
9/25/14 – A Visit with Lucy
It’s always a happy day when Lucy the therapy dog comes to visit the nursing home. It was a beautiful day to be outside and share some smiles!
