It was all smiles at the Slovene Home today when Lucy Lu the therapy dog came to visit. The residents got to pet her and learn about what it takes to become a certified therapy dog. The best part for Lucy Lu was all the treats!

 We had a fun sing along at McGregor assisted living today! We sang songs from the 1940s through the 1970s and discussed our fond memories of the songs. Everyone had fun playing hand percussion too!

 Our bi-weekly meditation class at the RH Myers senior apartments continued today with a practice of chanting and grounding meditations. The residents learned ways to quiet their active minds and achieve calm and peace through mindfulness.

We had a great group today at the Solon Senior Center for our Vegetarian Cooking Class. We worked together to prepare three delicious recipes. The group also learned nutritional guidelines for becoming vegetarian, and how to incorporate more vegetarian choices into their diet.

The residents at Stone Gardens Assisted Living loved our Gentle Yoga class today. We offered seated and standing options for each pose, and worked on our strength, flexibility and balance. Our ending meditation helped everyone to feel calm and relaxed.
