4/18/2011 – Healthy Kids Day
Healthy Kids Day at the Hillcrest YMCA was a great success! We had a good turnout of kids and families who received all kids of information about health and well-being. We gave free Reiki demonstrations and talked with people about how Reiki helps with physical, mental, and emotional health. We also coordinated with two dog rescue groups who brought foster dogs to the show, and educated the families on the health benefits of pet guardianship. Regina and I gave Reiki to many of the dogs who were nervous, and the kids were absolutely fascinated by that!
4/3/2011 – The Hillcrest YMCA
We are very grateful to the Hillcrest YMCA for inviting us to participate in Healthy Kids Day 2011 – a national initiative to improve the health and well-being of families across the country.
We will be providing Reiki demonstrations and letting folks know about the health benefits of Reiki.
The Hillcrest YMCA is at 5000 Mayfield Road, Lyndhurst. The fair runs from 9-11 am. Come say hello! Thanks to the Cleveland Heights Senior Center for having us teach a class on writing Ethical Wills. The participants found it to be fascinating, and a very meaningful undertaking for their families. They are excited about continuing their writing, and are talking about starting an Ethical Will writing club! We are so honored to be able to start them on their journey. And the center has asked us to teach it again!
