We started our second session of our music group at the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities.  We have two classes, one for lower functioning folks and one for higher functioning.  It is such a pleasure to see how music reaches through where words can’t, and engages these wonderful people each in their own special way.

We started our new journalism class with the wonderful folks at the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities.  I have 5 reporters working with me, and I am teaching them how to conduct interviews and write articles.  They are very excited about publishing our first edition soon!

Thank you to the folks at McGregor for inviting me in to present my “Architectural History of Cleveland” slideshow to their residents.  They learned about important building in Cleveland history from the 1880’s to 1930.  They really enjoyed the trip down memory lane, and shared some facts with me that I didn’t know!

A fun day at Fieldstone Farm Therapeutic Riding Center! It is a wonderful facility that works with people with disabilities.  We took our private client on a field trip from the nursing home to interact with the horses and ponies there.  A fun time was had by all!

Thanks to the folks at Governor’s Port in Mentor for inviting me to present my “Healthy Cooking for One or Two” program at their health fair today.  The attendees learned how to cook healthy meals, multiple uses for one ingredient, and proper nutrition from the various food groups.
