Many thanks to Embassy Healthcare for sponsoring my CEU presentation “Introduction to Alternative Healthcare” at Marymount Hospital, coordinated by Eldercare Professionals of Ohio.  A group of about 20 Nurses, Social Workers, Hospital Administrators and Counselors gained helpful new information for their clients about yoga, Tai Chi, massage therapy, Reiki energy therapy, and meditation.

Many thanks to the folks at McGregor for inviting me in to teach “Legacy and Family Tree Writing” to their residents.  The group learned how to gather and organize family information; and how to write, edit and publish their final works.  This class is always a wonderful trip down memory lane!

A fun day at the Board of Developmental Disabilities Euclid Adult Activity Center!  We coordinated with the volunteers from Lake Metroparks to bring an owl, a hawk, a turtle and a rabbit to visit with the folks at the center.  They learned facts about the animals, as well as how the animals are being rehabilitated by the volunteers.

Thanks to the folks at Home Instead Senior Care for sponsoring my CEU presentation “Home Safety Modifications” at Parma Hospital, coordinated by Eldercare Professionals of Ohio.  The group of Nurses, Social Workers, Hospital Administrators and Counselors learned about furniture arrangements, renovation projects and specialty products to help their clients stay safely living at home.

The Board of Developmental Disabilities Euclid Adult Activity Center invited me in to present my “Architectural History of Cleveland” slideshow to the folks there.  They learned about important building in Cleveland history from the 1880’s to 1930.  They really enjoyed the show and asked lots of good questions!
