So proud of my Journalism students at the Board of Developmental Disabilities – we published the second edition of our new newspaper “The East Cleveland Express” today.
11/15/13 – The Life Care Center of Westlake
Lots of smiles at the Life Care Center of Westlake today! We brought a pony and a miniature horse in to visit with the residents. They were able to pet the animals and learn about their care. Lots of smiles and laughter!
11/29/13 – Mandel Jewish Community Center
We kicked off the holiday season at the Mandel Jewish Community Center today with a luncheon and sing-along. About 30 people attended, and had fun singing old time songs with us while eating and socializing. A fun time for all!
11/6/13 – The Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
Another happy day at The Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Broadview Heights. We brought J.J. the therapy dog in for her monthly visit. J.J.’s calm and loving disposition makes her a perfect visitor. Lots of happy faces at The Heights today!
11/5/13 – Balance and Harmony Through Feng Shui
The Mentor Senior Center invited me out today to teach “Balance and Harmony Through Feng Shui” to their members. They MSC is very interested in bringing innovative programs with interesting subject matter to their members, and I am very grateful to them for asking me to be a part of their programming.
