Lots of fun today at our weekly sing along at the Board of Developmental Disabilities. The participants had a great time singing, clapping and playing hand percussion instruments. The favorite song of the day was “Rock This Town” by the Stray Cats.

Great turnout today for our yoga class at The Jennings center for Older Adults. The senior residents and our guests from the Board of Developmental Disabilities learned some yoga moves to keep their bodies healthy, and some breathing and meditation practices to keep their minds and spirits at ease.

Many thanks to the Homewood Residence for hosting our stamp printing class today. The senior residents and our guests form the Board of Developmental Disabilities made some beautiful original creations using stamps and paints of various kinds. Their own unique design styles were wonderful!

We had a wonderful discussion group at the McGregor home today with the senior residents and guests form the Board of Developmental Disabilities. We sang songs then talked about the memories or opinions we had about the songs. We learned new things about each other, and learned how much we have in common!

We had a fun class today at the Homewood Residence with our guests from the Board of Developmental Disabilities. We learned about gazebos, pergolas, trellises and arbors. Then we built scale models of a pergola. The construction teams did a great job, and they got to take their mini-pergolas home with them.
