Our friends from the Board of Developmental Disabilities joined us at the Homewood Residence to learn about vegetarianism and make recipes. We had an international feast with Chilean Pebre and Cuban Black Bean Stew.

  The residents at the R.H. Myers Apartments learned the many benefits of meditation, and how it can help reduce stress and keep us more peaceful. They learned simple ways to meditate, and how to incorporate it into their daily lives.

 The seniors at the Gates Mills Community Club learned how the practice of Gratitude Journaling helps provide a happy, optimistic outlook on life. They learned how to start a gratitude journal, what to include, and all the ways it can help them keep a healthy perspective on life.

 It was a day of relaxation and education today at The Homewood Residence. We gave sample massage treatments to the residents and also educated them about he benefits of massage. Guests from the Board of Developmental Disabilities joined us, for a morning of health and learning.

 We had a fun class today at the Warrensville Community Apartments with our guests from the Board of Developmental Disabilities. We learned about gazebos, pergolas, trellises and arbors. Then we built scale models of a pergola. The construction teams did a great job, and celebrated with fist-bumps! Then they got to take their mini-pergolas home with them.
